Per your referencing Otero, do you have any thoughts on All Sides Meda vs Media Bias Fact Check, which has been my go-to for unfamiliar sites for years?
I try and do it on my own, checking an unfamiliar site's About section, seeing to what extent it has an ethics policy, discloses funding, makes it easy to contact its authors and editors, seeing if or what other outlets I trust have said about it, and doing lateral reading about the topic. I admit to not really scrutinizing All Sides of the other one that much. I probably should.
Oh, that indeed. I use MBFC if I can't find things like an About, or if the About doesn't have that much information, or if a WHOIS doesn't return much info either.
