Stan Hrincevich * , Ari Armstrong **, and Governor Jared Polis *** all make the mistake of conflating an H.O.A. - which is a corporation - with restrictive covenants - which are the neighborhood rules.

"In order to enforce a neighborhood's restrictive covenants, it is not necessary to have an H.O.A."

* With advocates like Stan, Colorado homeowners don't need enemies.

** Ari is the type of person who read some Ayn Rand novels as a teenager and is therefore qualified to have an opinion on anything and everything.

*** When Jared was my Congress Critter, I met him in person several times to bring H.O.A. issues to his attention, before he finally told me to "F--- off and die" (well, he didn't use that phrase exactly, but his message was clear). He has zero interest in protecting Colorado homeowners from the abusive, fraudulent, predatory, and criminal business practices of the H.O.A. industry special interests that govern half of this state's population.

It is obvious that we are being governed by a bunch of unserious clowns, con-artists, charlatans, and cowards who are more interested in posing in front to their “Mission Accomplished” banner and proclaiming “H.O.A. legislation in our time, H.O.A. legislation with honour” than they are in actually solving problems.

I predict that there will be several more bills to address this same issue in the coming years.
