I must ask why Hedberg still supports Trump when he made stories discussing and criticizing election denial among the right-wing officials on the county and even got into a spat with a far-right “news” outlet. It’s odd to this observer to be a journalist that made stories about democracy, local transparency and spotlighting extremism while openly supporting a man who values none of that plus being the ringleader of said issues. Maybe that’s why he ran as an independent candidate. Even he got tired of it all.
Respectfully, Mr. Vela might want to focus first on sobriety (and landing other employment he may need to land), then relaunching this podcast 6 months or more down the road. And, maybe put that "run for office" on the back burner for a few years?
