Corey, I think the suit is misbegotten. The First Amendment of course does NOT guarantee any particular sources of funding for any media organization. Now, if the particular public media can make a breach of contract claim on some grounds, bring it on.

Public radio should provide these services only: Weather Alerts, Public Health Alerts, Traffic Alerts and Natural Disaster updates. We don't need a state sponsored news service as that isn't the role of government to shape, report or influence news. Europe has state sponsored news services but we aren't Europeans who seem to need the state to tell them what is going on.
