Although I live in neither neighborhood, I often times pick up their papers as I pass by on my bike. I've enjoyed reading stories and using businesses in these neighborhoods and I regret to see them shut down. Neighborhood news is what really tells you what is going on.
The stretching of middle and upper-level editorial staff at CCM? Sounds like a "legacy" chain; CNHI here in Texas is getting worse and worse on that one, about as bad as Gannett.
